LJP 2019 KickoffPlease reach out with any questions or concerns that I can assist you with as a member of the Somerville School Committee.

What a complex school year which included hiring a new Superintendent, getting traction on addressing maintenance needs of our buildings and initiating plans for two school facilities that likely need more then maintenance. I am looking forward to working with the incoming Superintendent Dr. Rubén Carmona, a thoughtful, talented and compassionate leader with strong roots in Urban Education in both Salem and Lowell, who joins SPS on July 1st 2023.

I am also excited to share that I am running for a sixth term to represent Ward Five on the School Committee. It has been a great privilege and honor to serve my community. Click here if you are interested in making a donation to my 2023 Campaign for Ward Five School Committee.
